2009

Woahhhh...Christmas is over. That was fast, I feel like it went right buy me, and I didn't even notice!

I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas, and that we all felt that warm and fuzzy feeling that we only get to experience once a year!! Now I have that depressed feeling, you know, when Christmas is over....why must it be over??? WHY???

Anyway, 2009 is nearly over! How scary, like always, I feel sad when a new year ends, because of the memories that occurred in it, and the fact that I become a year older, but I also welcome 2010 with open arms. I hope it will be a good year. I have realised that 2010 is a good year for new year's resolutions. It's such a round number, 2010...it just seems like a year for growth and change, wouldn't you agree?

Geeze, so much has happened this year...being in year 12, finishing year 12, moving house...they seem like little things when written in words, but they are so much more than that. I have become a year wiser, I have matured in many ways, and also have become immature in many ways. As I said, I have become more wise, and I shall continue to do so as the years go by. Also, a decade of music has gone by. I believe they are calling this era the "nougties". Tehehe, I like it. The noughties have been a good decade of music, I mean after all, it is when Paramore made their first appearance...hehe. On Channel V, they are counting down the top 10,000 songs this decade. I don't get how you can get 10,000 songs and put them in a specific order, that's just crazy. Though I am curious to see what is Number 1.

All in all, 2009 has been a good year for me. Full of challenges, stress, laughs, tears, happiness and strength. I don't really have anything to complain about, and I am grateful for what this year has given me. Just thinking about it now makes me realise all the lessons I have learned this year. So, with the utmost sincerity, I bid farewell to 2009, and I humbly welcome 2010. BRING IT ON!!!
