Suckfest of a week

Hey y'all, I just realised I haven't made a post about what is going on in my life for a while hehe.

Well Easter was last week...I think. Or maybe the week before, and we got 1 week off uni. But half that time I was working, and the other half I was caught between other stuff and uni work. So I feel like I haven't had a holiday at all. But you know, it was all good because I got lots of chocolate, plus the extra work is good for me, gives me more money to save up for my trip to Europe.

Oh yeah, I haven't talked about that! I'm going to Europe in January next year with some girl. I'm excited for it, but it hasn't hit me yet. I feel like I'm not going, it seems too awesome to be real, so the full on "OH MY GOSH I AM GOING TO EUROPE" hasn't really struck me yet. But it will. Probably the day before I leave or something as usual haha.

Yeah so back on uni, before the holidays they gave us so much work that was of course due after the holidays. I am still struggling to get through it all. I feel really tired and worn down this week, as most nights I sleep late reading journal articles and have to get up extra early because my mum has gone overseas so I have to get me and my sister to school and uni (you know, the whole make our lunches, take care of the dogs, the chores) all before I leave the house every morning. It's not that bad, but it being Friday today, the end of the week, I think I am starting to feel the full effect of it all.

Although today I did take a day off uni, so I got to sleep in till 6.30 today which was a nice change. Not really, but you know, it's better than usual. But since morning I've just been working on a major report. It's been pretty interesting researching everything, but also a bit stressful because I don't really understand much of what I am reading. I am finding myself searching up basic terminology to try and comprehend what is going on. And even then it only makes sense just a little. Oh well, I suppose that is what you get for choosing a subject you have no background in! But I guess all in all it's a worthwhile subject, I am barely passing it, but I find it really really interesting.

Besides from the whole uni stuff and home stuff, little things have been happening this week that when added up, make this week a really bad one. I don't really want dwell on all the bad stuff so I won't go into it, but yeah, that has made me worn out too.

I feel like an old grandma complaining haha. I don't really like complaining about stuff, but every now and then I like to get it all out. I am trying very hard to talk about some good things what have happened this week to make this post seem not so emo, but I can't hahaha. OH WAIT! There is a little something that put a smile on my dial. When I was younger I used to play this car racing game on my N64 religiously. I'd have finished the game several times, but I never got bored of it. One awesome aspect of the game was the soundtrack. Each track had a different song. It was hard rock/metal kind of stuff, but it really suited the game and you would feel so awesome driving really fast with those songs playing in the background. So I researched a bit, and ended up getting the album on which all those songs were on! So yeah, that was pretty awesome haha. They were by this band called "Grindstone" so if you feel like playing a car racing game anytime soon, play one of their songs in the background ;)
